Title Example: Resale Rights for JVManager. You can use HTML code BUT do not overuse it because that affects the listing of the Packages in JVManager too.
Description What you'll include here will be displayed next to the Title. You can use HTML. This way your customers can click the link for that specific product and visit the page before ordering.
Price, $ Example: $100 - Click here for more information on setting up a Zero Price Product (added with version 3.03)
Make this Product available to other Packages  Check this box if you want to be able to import this Product to other Packages too.
JV & Affiliate Information The person with the name and email address you'll specify here will receive a message for each order of this specific Product.
Owner name
Owner email
Affiliate commission You can change the DEFAULT commission scheme here, for this specific Product.
You can choose to apply an 1-tier or a 2-tier scheme.
You can define a commission on percentage, a flat amount or a combination.

Example for 1-tier: 50% or $10
Example for 2-tier: 50%/10%

ATTENTION: If you define a % as commission on 2-tier the percentage is calculated upon the 1-tier amount. So if you define a scheme like the above, and the price of the Product is -say- $100, the affiliate on 1-tier will receive $50% (50% of $100) and on 2-tier $5 (10% of $50.)

Other examples:

30%/50% for a price of $100: 1-tier will get $30 and 2-tier will get $15 (50% of 1-tier commission)
30%/100% for a price of $100: 1-tier will get $30 and 2-tier also $30 (100% of 1-tier commission)
$30%/50% for a price of $100: 1-tier will get $30 and 2-tier will get $15 (50% of $30)

Charity Affiliate ID The affiliate/s whose ID/s will be included here (separated by comma) will get the amount you'll specify. Include affiliate's ID (NOT THE LOGIN NAME, BUT THE ID.) Example: 23,453,927,1898

Ideal solution if you want to donate money to a charity or just to help a friend. The commission can be either a flat amount (example: $10) or a percentage (Example: 10% => the % is calculated upon the basic price of the Product.)

Charity commission Any flat amount or a %. Each of the affiliates included above will receive the same amount or %. Examples:

$10 => each of the affiliates will get $10 for each sale. Attention: the affiliate will get $10 for ALL sales generated for that product in general and not only for the sales generated by his/her affiliate link.

10% => each of affiliates whose IDs you will define above will get 10% of the price. Thus, you can include from 1 to 10 affiliates for 10%, from 1 to 20 affiliates for giving them 5% each, etc.

Guarantee period (in days) If set to 0 then commissions will be calculated instantly.  If you set it to -say- 30 days, then commissions will be credited to affiliates' accounts (for this SPECIFIC PRODUCT) after 30 days. If a customer requests a refund during the period specified here, you can click "Sales," find the order and mark is as refunded. JVM will NOT credit the orders you have marked as refunded, while this can be done during the period (in days) you'll specify in this field.
Digital Delivery: membership
URL to protected folder (for memberships) If you want to grant access to a protected directory in your server then include the path here.

If your server is yourserver.com and you want to protect the directory "ebooks" in your server, then create this directory in your server and insert "/ebooks" here (without the quotes.)

If you wish to protect a sub-directory, like:  yourserver.com/ebooks/download then create that sub-directory in your server and insert "/ebooks/download" here (without the quotes.)

JVM can automatically lock the directory in your server and allow only customers that paid for this specific Product to access it. Your customers will have to use their email address as the "username" and a UNIQUE password created by JVM randomly.

Duration of membership in days (if that applies) Insert the number of days the customer can access the protected area you have specified above - if any.
Digital Delivery: download
Downloading URL Insert any URL your customers need (a downloading URL, a URL for a "Thank You" page, etc.. JVM will HIDE the actual address of this URL. You must use links that end to a file. Do not direct customers to .php files. Examples

Correct: http://www.server.com/file.zip
Correct: http://www.server.com/file.pdf
Correct: http://www.server.com/file.exe

Wrong: http://www.server.com
Wrong: http://www.server.com/folder/
Wrong: http://www.server.com/download.php

Expiration period (in hours) Insert the hours you want the "Downloading URL" to expire.
Downloading instructions When your customers pay for this product, they will read the "Description" (see above) and the message in this textarea (you can use HTML.) You can insert here any instructions your customers need for downloading your product or for accessing their membership.
Digital Delivery: special commission - Click here for more information.
Grant Special Commission to the customer (if enabled, the product can be purchase only by an affiliate) Insert the special commission; examples:

$100/$50 => $100 on first level, $50 on second level
20%/100% => 20% on first level, 20% on second level (remember that the % of the second level is based on the % of the first level; so if you define 20%/50% that means: 20% on the first level and 10% on the second level, etc.)

This is the special commission the customer/affiliate will get for all sales generated by his/her account for any of the products offered through the affiliate group you will define below.

Note: BY DEFAULT ALL the customers/affiliates of such a product  CAN SEE the names and email addresses of the customers they send to your site. If you want to activate this feature (displaying names & email addresses) for a specific affiliate click Affiliates and select the record you want to edit, then check the box next to "Allow affiliate to see his/her customers"

Affiliate Group to which the commission would be applicable Select the group.

Remember that ONLY an EXISTING affiliate can order this Product/Special Commission. The customer/affiliate needs to insert his/her username and password in order to proceed with the order for this Product. Once the order is done, the customer/affiliate will be MOVED from the group s/he currently is to the group you define here.

Move affiliate to this affiliate group when the assigned membership (if any) expires   Select the group.

Example: suppose you have 2 groups: ALL & Special and you want only affiliates that will pay for this SCAP (special commission as a product) to be added to the group "Special." Affiliate AF currently in group "ALL" pays for this product and he is moved to the group "Special" for receiving the special commission you will define. You can assign a subscription, or an access to a protected area (membership.) You'll see a new record in the "Special Commissions" added for that customer/affiliate upon the completion of his/her order.
