Define the DEFAULT commission plan for this Package. The value/s you will insert here will be inserted automatically into the corresponding fields when adding a Product.

Actually this is the ONLY reason this field exists: for facilitating the easy insertion of the values inside to the record of each Product you add in the Package. So, if you insert a value now and change it later on this will not affect the values you have already inserted to the commission's fields inside the records of the Products added to this Package.
