Privileged Pack As a Product (PPAP) By setting up a PPAP you will be able to offer JVManager's accounts to your customers for a fee or free. A PPAP should be dealt with as a Product too, with its own delivery method, its own commission for affiliates that promote it, etc. If you want to create a PPAP check " This product is a Privilege Pack " first. Then click " Show privileges ... " link and define the account you want to sell. The checkboxes indicate the features allowed to exist on the specific PPAP. If you check a box then that feature will be available to the specific PPAP to customer's JVManager's account. Additionally, you can limit the:
You can create various "privileged packages (PP) " as Products and sell/give them away accordingly. For example, you can create a simple PP for allowing the customer to check your system by allowing him/her to create only 1 Package, 1 affiliate group and accept 10 affiliates only, also adding some of the basic features of an account, like: Sales You can assign a membership to a PP by defining a path for the protected area and also the "Duration," so your customers can use their privileged account for N days. It is NOT suggested to combine a PPAP with a membership (free access to a protected area) in all cases, because customers can renew their membership through their customers' area. What happens when someone orders a PPAP The customer that orders a PPAP becomes a Reseller (you can find the relevant link for "Resellers" when clicking 'Affiliates'.) You can think of Resellers as "administrators" too with you as the "master administrator." Resellers can login to their account through the same administration login area. JVManager will automatically issue a unique username and password to each Reseller. The innovative issue here is that your Resellers can IMPORT a Product of yours by JUST TYPING A CODE. Especially for memberships As you can see you are also able to export a Product to your Resellers and even allow them to grant access to your memberships/aka. protected folders to their customers. Be EXTREMELY careful when exporting your memberships! An issue that arises is what happens if a Reseller wants to offer/sell a membership too... Since your Resellers cannot access YOUR server through FTP for uploading their pages, how they could offer a membership to their customers? The solution is to work personally with your Reseller for this. If you are creative enough, you can even get & install a script on your server that will allow you to define a directory your Resellers can use for creating their accounts, upload their files, etc. Thus, with such script installed, you'd create a directory "bob" inside the main directory of "users" and Bob (your Reseller) can access that directory through the web, upload his files and work his memberships with JVManager. |
