special commission (SCAP)

SCAP (Special Commission As a Product)

You can create a "Special Commission" as a Product and sell an upgrade option to your affiliates for receiving higher commissions for the Packages/Products added to a specific affiliate group.

Only registered and activated affiliates can order such a Product (SCAP).

Grant Special Commission to the customer
(if enabled, the product can be purchased only by an affiliate)

Insert the special affiliate commission. Example: 90%

Affiliate Group to which the commission would be applicable

Select the affiliate group to which affiliates will be MOVED upon the completion of their payment.

Move affiliate to this affiliate group when the assigned membership (if any) expires

Select the affiliate group to which affiliates will be moved upon the expiration of a membership assigned to this SCAP.

More about this with an example:

Suppose you offer a SCAP with a price of $100 through a monthly Paypal subscription. You can also define a membership area on your server; that would be the directory through which you'd provide them with the information needed for promoting the products. Now...

If a customer (subscriber) cancels his/her subscription through Paypal, then JVManager will delete his/her access codes to that membership area too.

If instead of a Paypal subscription a free membership or a membership with another payment gateway (instead of Paypal) is chosen to be offered, and you define say 90 days as "Duration" then JVManager will delete the customer's access codes to that membership area when 90 days pass.

Note that customers will be able to renew their membership/s through the customer's area by using the Package's order URL. So do NOT offer FREE memberships if you do not want your customers to renew a membership without a fee.

So you can create a Product/SCAP and say that:

  • Affiliates will get 95%.

  • Affiliates will be moved to affiliate group "special" upon payment.

  • Affiliates will be moved to affiliate group "ALL" upon expiration of their membership OR subscription.

In all cases a SCAP must be viewed as another Product.

You can define a price for a SCAP and choose the delivery option as with ANY product:

  • an encrypted downloading URL, or

  • a membership, or

  • just instructions.

If you define a membership/protected folder, JVManager will create that directory on your server and distribute a username and password to your affiliate/customer, as already discussed above.

If you relate a SCAP with a membership and a (Paypal) subscription then you'd include something like 99999 for the "Duration" of the membership.

Lastly, you can just create a SCAP and assign a subscription WITHOUT a membership. Affiliates/customers of that SCAP will be credited with higher commissions for as long their Paypal subscription is active.
