Step 1: Edit your information

Select System/Configuration and add your information.

Step 2: Edit your templates

Select System/Templates and edit your templates; edit:

• Your main header and footer for your administration pages.
• The default templates for your generic 1st and 2nd order pages, for instructions. Click here for more information.
• The messages sent to customers for retrieving their password and the purchase notification.
• The message sent to affiliates: sale notification, refund notification, upon Registration, upon Activation, upon e-mail change request, when they ask for codes' retrieval.
• If you are going to import any affiliate/s, you can also edit the message sent to imported affiliates.

Step 3: Create your first affiliate group

Select Affiliates/Affiliate groups and create your affiliate group; name it ALL. This will be your generic affiliate program. You can add more groups later. Make a note of the generated affiliate registration URL for this group.

Step 4: Create your first Package

Select Product/Packages and click the "Create" button to create a new Package. Define the Title, the Homepage, any autoresponder for customers of this Package along with the subject for the email messages sent to that autoresponder, the message your customers will receive by JVManager when ordering a Product from this Package, decide if you will include this Package to the affiliate group ALL, and if yes, define the default commission that will be inserted to the corresponding values in the Product/s' record/s, define a commission per click, if you want to reward your affiliates for sending traffic to the Homepage of this Package, leave "Allow full payments" unchecked unless you want to allow your affiliates to be paid directly to their Paypal account for the sales generated for all Products in the Package, leave "Locked" unchecked, unless if you want to lock the Package, insert the "Promotional material" for this Package and define the "Width" and "Height" for the corresponding window that will display this material to your affiliates, check "Use default template" for the 1st and 2nd order pages, unless you want to edit them. Click "Save" to save the information.

Step 5: Create your first Product

Select Product/Packages and click the "add/edit" link next to the Package's title, and then click "Create" to add a new Product. In most cases, a Package will include 1 Product only, so the URL next to Package's title is the ORDER link for the Product/s too. Insert the title, description and price for the Product, verify that the Affiliate commission for this Product is correct, decide if you'll use a Guarantee period for this Product (in concern to your affiliates' commissions), decide the delivery way you will use for delivering the Product to customer. You can include instructions, a downloading URL, access to a protected area for memberships. Also check what a SCAP and a PPAP are. If you want to allow your Resellers to import this Product (more about this below) include a price. Finally decide what payment gateways you'll use and add the appropriate information for Paypal, and/or 2Checkout, and/or ClickBank, and/or MoneyBookers, and/or Stormpay, and/or LinkPoint.

Step 6: Prepare your pages/ add js code

Open the homepage you have defined for this Package in your HTML editor and add the javascript code needed by JVManager for crediting your affiliates for all orders. Use JVM Buddy #2 for creating the codes you need. Remember that the order URL is displayed next to Package's title.

Step 7: Upload pages

Upload the pages and images of this Product  on your server according to the URL you have defined as Homepage for this Package.

You are ready to get your orders!

Use JVM Buddy #1  for creating your login URLs so you can inform your affiliates and customers where to login.  

Repeat the procedure for adding a new Package for a new Product.
